DESCRIPTION
The 1A215002GFV is a 2100 Series STRIPSWITCH® PCB-mounted thumbwheel switch featuring BCD 1-2-4-8 binary encoding with 10 switching positions. It combines direct decimal-to-binary conversion in a compact package with a rotational torque of 1.0–4.0 inch-ounces and a mechanical life of 250,000 detents at +25°C. The switch supports a maximum switching load of 125 mA at 28 VDC with a circuit resistance of 100 mO maximum and operates reliably across a temperature range of -20°C to +75°C. The housing and thumbwheel are constructed from glass-reinforced polyester (UL 94 V0), with contacts featuring gold-over-nickel plating for durability. This switch is ideal for industrial control panels, instrumentation, and data entry applications where reliable binary encoding and compact PCB integration are required.
