DESCRIPTION
The T8207 is a sub-miniature toggle switch designed for printed circuit board applications with wave-solderable terminals, part of the Series T8000 PCB toggle switch family. It features a 3-position configuration with ON-OFF-OFF switching capability and is constructed with gold-plated sheathing bar and terminals for reliable low-level current and voltage operation. The switch delivers a mechanical life of 500,000 operations minimum and electrical life of 100,000 operations minimum, with a contact resistance of 25 milliohms maximum and dielectric strength of 1000 VAC rms. Current ratings are 1 A at 5V dc, 1 A at 12V dc, 0.5 A at 28V dc, and 0.5 A at 125V ac for resistive loads. The T8207 operates reliably across an ambient temperature range of -20°C to +70°C and weighs 0.06 ounces (1.7 grams), making it ideal for compact PCB applications requiring durable switching functionality with wave soldering compatibility.
