DESCRIPTION
The UV505 is a pocket-sized UV-AB light meter designed to measure UV irradiance from natural and artificial light sources across a wavelength range of 290 to 390 nm. It features a cosine-corrected UV sensor capable of measuring irradiance up to 40.00 mW/cm² with two selectable ranges (1 to 3999 µW/cm² and 0.01 to 40 mW/cm²), a backlit LCD display for easy viewing, and a zero function for calibration. The meter includes a data hold function to freeze readings, operates on two AAA batteries, and comes with a protective pouch for portability. It is well-suited for outdoor activities, indoor medical testing, laboratory research, industrial applications, education, electronics work, and forensics/criminology investigations where UV light measurement is required.
