DESCRIPTION

The 2643180551 is a flat cable EMI suppression core manufactured by Fair-Rite Products, engineered to accommodate multi-conductor flat cables with widths ranging from 12.7 mm (0.500 inch) to 77 mm (3.0 inches). This ferrite-based core is available in two material grades and provides controlled impedance characteristics to suppress conducted EMI across a broad frequency spectrum from 1 MHz to hundreds of MHz. The core features typical impedance values of 29 O at 10 MHz, 50 O at 25 MHz, 121 O at 100 MHz, and 195 O at 250 MHz, with dimensions of 40 mm × 34.8 mm × 18 mm (1.575 × 1.37 × 0.709 inches). These flat cable cores are ideal for applications requiring EMI mitigation in ribbon cable and flex circuit assemblies, offering both split and single core configurations with optional assembly clips for convenient installation.
