DESCRIPTION
SM4219 is an SMA male to N female RF adapter from Fairview Microwave designed to enable connections between two incompatible connector types. The adapter operates across a frequency range from DC to 18 GHz with a characteristic impedance of 50 ohms and features a maximum VSWR of 1.3:1, ensuring excellent signal integrity. It incorporates gold-plated beryllium copper contacts with a minimum plating thickness of 0.3 µm and PTFE insulation material, providing reliable performance over an operating temperature range of -45°C to +120°C. The adapter has a straight body geometry with an 8 mm hex size on the SMA connector and supports 100 mating cycles on both connectors. This product is ideal for general-purpose RF testing, laboratory applications, and as a connector saver to protect expensive equipment from wear during frequent connect/disconnect cycles.
