DESCRIPTION
The GX11CC is a 150+ ampere 12–800 Vdc hermetically sealed DC contactor featuring GIGAVAC's rugged EPIC seal rated to 175°C for enhanced protection against fire and meltdown in overcurrent conditions. It is designed to meet UL1604 for Class I & II Division 2 and Class III hazardous locations, with environmental sealing exceeding IP67 and IP69K standards, making it suitable for demanding applications including temporary water immersion and pressure washing environments. The contactor incorporates built-in coil suppression for all DC coils, eliminating the need for external suppression components, and offers optional high-efficiency dual DC coils (12 or 24 VDC) with very low continuous coil power consumption ideal for battery-powered systems. With a mechanical life of 1,000,000 cycles, maximum contact resistance of 0.4 mO, and operating temperature range of -55°C to +85°C, the GX11CC delivers reliable switching performance in aerospace, marine, renewable energy, and industrial power distribution applications where hermetic sealing and high current capacity are essential.
