DESCRIPTION
The GX14BA is a 350+ ampere, 12–800 VDC EPIC® hermetically sealed DC contactor designed for high-reliability switching applications. It features a rugged EPIC seal rated to 175°C, dual DC coils with very low continuous power consumption (2.0–2.8 W depending on coil voltage), and internal transorb-based coil suppression that eliminates the need for external diodes. The contactor is hermetically sealed to UL1604 standards for hazardous locations (Class I & II, Div 2 and Class III), IP67 rated for temporary water immersion, and IP69K rated for pressure washing, with stainless steel hardware for corrosion-free service. It delivers 1,000,000 mechanical life cycles, operates from -55°C to +85°C, and can be mounted in any position. These characteristics make it ideal for battery-powered systems, renewable energy applications, electric vehicles, and industrial switching where low coil power, high reliability, and environmental sealing are critical.
