DESCRIPTION
The GX23CA is a 350+ ampere 12–800 Vdc EPIC® hermetically sealed DC contactor designed for high-reliability power switching applications. It features a rugged EPIC seal rated to 175°C, stand-up mounting with integrated safety cover, and dual DC coils with internal Deltach coil suppression that deliver very low continuous coil power (2–2.8 W) without EMI emissions. The contactor is hermetically sealed to UL1604 Class I & II Division 2 and Class III standards, IP67 rated for temporary water immersion, and IP69K rated for pressure washing, making it suitable for hazardous and harsh environments. Key electrical characteristics include a maximum contact resistance of 0.4 mO, mechanical life of 1,000,000 cycles, and operating time of 13 ms typical. The unit operates over an ambient temperature range of -55°C to +85°C and is ideal for battery-powered systems, renewable energy applications, and advanced aerospace programs where reliability and low control power are essential.
