DESCRIPTION

The 04A-B01 is a butt contact pushbutton switch with a permanently attached bat-handle actuator, designed for joystick-style position control and cursor movement on display screens. This 4PST (four-pole, single-throw) switch features a rated capacity of 250 mA at 115 Vac or 125 mA at 220 Vac resistive load with a contact life of 500,000 operations. The switch incorporates gold-plated brass terminals, phosphor bronze shorting bar, and tinned music wire springs, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and a contact resistance of 25 milliohms maximum. The bat-handle measures 0.375 ± 0.005 inches in diameter and 1.219 ± 0.020 inches in length, providing ergonomic control for menu navigation and cursor positioning applications. This switch is ideal for legacy CRT screen interfaces, industrial control panels, and any application requiring reliable joystick-style actuation.
