DESCRIPTION
The 04J-AP-C12 is a single-pole, 4-way toggle switch with an integrated center pushbutton, designed for front-panel mounting in sealed environments. It features IP67 sealing against contamination when properly mounted, with a cone-shaped gray cap and thermoplastic body. The switch delivers a toggle operating force of 16 oz ± 6 oz initial, a pushbutton operating force of 5 lbs maximum, and supports 100,000 operational cycles minimum with contact resistance of 0.05 ohms maximum. Operating across a temperature range of -55°C to +85°C, it is rated for 2 amp resistive or 0.5 amp inductive loads at 28VDC or 115VAC, with 10,000 megohm insulation resistance. This RoHS-compliant joystick is ideal for industrial control panels, machinery interfaces, and applications requiring reliable, sealed switching in harsh environments.
