DESCRIPTION
The 25BSP22-G-1-08 is a Series 25 multi-deck mechanical encoder manufactured by Grayhill, designed for precision rotational position sensing and switching applications. It features a 22.5° angle of throw providing 16 positions, with Gray code output and PC terminals perpendicular to the shaft. The encoder operates over a temperature range of -65°C to +85°C, with a rotational torque of 4–20 in-oz dependent on the number of decks, and a stop strength of 10 in-lbs minimum. The compact package measures 0.865" square with a 1/4" diameter shaft, gold/silver/nickel-plated beryllium copper contacts, and a life expectancy of 50,000 cycles at rated loads. This encoder is ideal for industrial control panels, instrumentation, and applications requiring reliable multi-position switching with excellent electrical performance and mechanical durability.
