DESCRIPTION

The T18-B is a soldering tip designed for use with HAKKO FX-8801, FX-8802, and FX-8803 soldering systems as part of the T18 series lineup. This tip is one of 11 shapes added to the T18 series, providing expanded application coverage beyond the earlier 900M series. The T18-B tip is compatible with soldering guns and can be used with standard iron holders when appropriate nozzle assemblies are employed. It is suitable for general soldering operations on printed circuit boards, including lead-free soldering applications with low-activated flux. The tip's design minimizes solder bridges, icicles, and unwettability issues, making it ideal for both conventional and multilayered PWB soldering tasks.
