DESCRIPTION
The 1550M is a compact diecast aluminum enclosure manufactured by Hammond Canada, designed for housing and protecting electronic components. It features internal dimensions of 95.28 mm (3.75 inches) width, 32.10 mm (1.26 inches) height, and 35.37 mm (1.39 inches) depth, with external dimensions of 120.00 mm × 100.00 mm. The enclosure is constructed from diecast aluminum alloy and includes a matching lid with four M3.5-0.6 mounting points, supplied with four cover screws and an EVA gasket for liquid resistance. The assembly supports a recommended torque of 75 ozf.in (55 cN.m) for cover screw installation. This enclosure is ideal for industrial control systems, instrumentation, and applications requiring compact, durable aluminum housing with environmental protection.
