DESCRIPTION
The 1554YAGY is a General Purpose ABS enclosure in RAL-7035 gray finish, designed for housing and protecting electrical and electronic equipment. It features internal dimensions of 289.74 mm (11.41 in) length, 229.74 mm (9.04 in) width, and 112 mm (4.41 in) height, with external dimensions of 300 mm (11.81 in) by 240 mm (9.45 in) by 138 mm (5.43 in). The enclosure includes 6 M4 stainless steel inserts, 4 M3 brass inserts, and 10 mounting points that accept #8 self-tapping screws, along with 4 mounting holes (Ø4.40 mm). The purchased assembly includes the box, lid, 6 cover screws, and a preformed silicone gasket, with a recommended cover screw torque of 8–9 lbf-in (90–100 cN·m). This enclosure is UL listed (File #E65324, Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P) and is suitable for general-purpose applications requiring robust environmental protection and secure component mounting.
