DESCRIPTION
The 1594BBK is a rugged electronic instrument enclosure from the Heavy Duty ABS 1594 Series, designed for mounting printed circuit boards with a countersunk lid secured by M3 machine screws threaded into integral brass bushings. The enclosure features a thick-wall design with an average wall thickness of 0.12" (3.1 mm) and is molded from flame-retardant ABS plastic carrying a UL flammability rating of 94V-0. It is designed to meet IP54 protection standards and features lap joint construction with a matte textured finish available in black or grey. The 1594BBK has external dimensions of 3.2" × 2.2" (81 mm × 56 mm) with an assembled height of 1.6" (40 mm), making it suitable for compact electronic applications requiring durability and environmental protection. This enclosure is ideal for rugged field instruments, control systems, and portable electronic devices where repetitive assembly and disassembly are required.
