DESCRIPTION

The M80-4810405 is a rectangular connector featuring crimp-type coaxial contacts designed for high-frequency signal applications. It supports wire terminations ranging from 7/0.12 mm (28 AWG) to 7/0.08 mm (32 AWG) with a maximum insulation diameter of 0.75 mm, and achieves a minimum pull-off force of 4 N to 12.5 N depending on wire gauge. The coaxial contacts provide 50 O impedance with a frequency range up to 6 GHz, operating voltage of 180 V AC at 500 mA, and maximum voltage rating of 1,000 V AC rms, with contact resistance of 6 mO maximum and insulation resistance of 106 MO at 250 V rms. Mechanical durability is rated for 500 mating operations with an insertion force of 8.0 N maximum, withdrawal force of 0.5 N minimum, and contact wipe of 1.30 mm minimum. This connector is ideal for RF/microwave systems, test equipment, and high-speed data transmission applications requiring reliable coaxial signal integrity.
