DESCRIPTION
The ST40X-CM(4.0-5.0) is a solder-type, shielded interface plug connector from the ST series, intended for use as an I/O port on portable information devices. It features a rated voltage of 100V AC and a current rating of 0.5A, with a low initial contact resistance of 60mΩ maximum. The connector is designed for high durability with 10,000 mating/un-mating cycles and includes a strong locking mechanism that withstands a pull force of up to 49N. Operating within a temperature range of -30°C to +80°C, it has a 0.5 mm contact pitch and uses gold-plated copper alloy contacts for reliable connections. Its robust and compact design makes it suitable for applications such as digital cameras, PDAs, and other portable electronics requiring a reliable, small-form-factor I/O connection.
