DESCRIPTION

A Snap Action Switch is a type of momentary contact micro switch which operates at a rapid speed as it takes very little force or stimulus to operate. Snap action switches are highly sensitive switches that respond to very small movements and can rapidly change from one contact position to the other. The SM series sub-miniature basic switches are used for simple on/off application needs and are therefore widely used in aerospace, instrumentation, timing devices, computer and business equipment, test instruments, HVAC equipment, manually operated devices, etc.

21SM284 Snap Action Switch from Honeywell features a long operating life and an elongated mounting hole which enables easier and accurate mounting. This Snap Action Switch offers a choice of actuation, electrical termination and operating characteristics for optimum functionality.
