DESCRIPTION
3090A35 Speed Sensor from Honeywell is designed with self-powered operation and is easy to install. It directly converts actuator speed to output frequency and is used in customized VRS products for different speed sensing applications. This Hazardous Location VRS sensor is designed especially for use in unsafe, unprotected areas where explosion-proof and effective sensors are essential.
These Honeywell Speed Sensors can be used for practices like gear speed measurement, flow measurement on turbine meters, speed measurement of pumps, blowers, mixers, exhaust and ventilating fans, among others. Speed sensors are useful in identifying change in the magnetic field and producing electronic signal for control system interface. They are primarily used for detecting direction, speed and even the position of a moving ferrous metal or magnetic target.
