DESCRIPTION
392JA1MEG Rotary Potentiometer from Honeywell features a compact size with conductive plastic element and robust nickel-plated brass shaft and bushings. It also comes with a linear electrical taper, PC style terminals and has a 0.5 W power rating. This 1M ohm single turn potentiometer has a mechanical rotation of 295° and offers a long rotational life of up to 50,000 cycles.
Potentiometers are measuring instruments that are used to measure electric potential, i.e. voltage, in a circuit. These potentiometers were primarily used in measuring voltage, before the invention of moving coil and digital volt meters.
