The PCS-XE68MA+ is an IDC (Insulation Displacement Contact) type male connector for cable designed for the PCS series of 1.27 mm pitch high-density connectors. This 68-contact connector is engineered for board-to-cable applications in downsized electronic equipment, featuring a compact form factor with dimensions of 52.13 mm (A), 41.91 mm (B), and 46.28 mm (C). The connector utilizes IDC termination technology for AWG #28 or #30 wire, providing substantial labor savings through standard cable connection methods. It incorporates an EMI-filtered design to meet FCC and other regulatory standards, a robust backshell interface structure, and quick locking with metal latch for secure mating.
