DESCRIPTION
The AL6Q-M14-Y is an LED-illuminated square pushbutton switch designed for momentary operation in the IDEC A6 Series of 16mm miniature switches and pilot devices. It features a square lens format with SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) contact configuration, gold-clad silver contacts for reliable low-level switching, and a maximum voltage rating of 250V AC/DC with a thermal current of 3A. The switch is available in an oiltight (IP65) version, providing watertight and oiltight protection suitable for harsh industrial environments. The LED illumination operates at 12V AC/DC (as indicated by the "4" voltage code in the part number designation), includes a built-in current-limiting resistor and reverse polarity protection diode, and is rated for 50,000 hours of continuous operation.
