DESCRIPTION

The XN1E-BV422MR is a non-illuminated emergency stop switch with a 40mm mushroom operator head, plastic bezel, and 2NC main contacts combined with 2NO monitor contacts. It features IDEC's proprietary "safe break action" mechanism that ensures contacts remain open when the contact block is detached, along with a safety-lock mechanism compliant with IEC60947-5-5 (6.2). The device operates with a 2-in-1 push-to-lock and pull/turn-to-reset action, incorporating a Direct Opening Action mechanism (IEC60947-5-5, 5.2) with a minimum force requirement of 80N and a 4mm operator stroke. It achieves IP65 degree of protection, operates across -25°C to +60°C, and is rated for 100,000 mechanical operations minimum with a contact resistance of 50mO maximum and 100MO minimum insulation resistance. This emergency stop is ideal for industrial machinery, control panels, and safety-critical applications requiring reliable emergency shutdown with redundant contact monitoring.
