DESCRIPTION
The XN4E-BL404MR is a non-illuminated 30mm padlock-type emergency stop switch designed for safety-critical industrial applications requiring secure lockout capability. It features 4 normally closed (4NC) main contacts with a 44mm mushroom operator head and incorporates IDEC's safe break action mechanism that ensures contacts remain open when the contact block is detached. The switch employs a push-to-lock and turn-to-reset operation with a push force of 32N and turn-to-reset torque of 0.4 N·m, meeting IEC60947-5-5 safety-lock and direct opening action requirements. With an operating temperature range of -25°C to +60°C, contact resistance of 50mO maximum, and mechanical life of 100,000 operations minimum, this device is ideal for emergency stop circuits in machinery, industrial control panels, and safety systems requiring up to 20 padlock installations for personnel lockout/tagout procedures.
