DESCRIPTION
051410-0052 is a Micro-D metal shell connector featuring 0.050" (1.27 mm) contact spacing and size 24 MICROPINTM/MICROSOCKETTM contacts designed for highly reliable, extremely small, lightweight applications requiring high-density contact configurations. The connector employs an aluminum shell to provide greater strength, prevent chipping and cracking, and offer electromagnetic (EMI) and RFI shielding. A silicone elastomer compression interfacial seal provides moisture and humidity sealing between each contact, ensuring environmental protection in demanding applications. The connector is available in multiple shell sizes accommodating from 9 to 100 contacts with special arrangements of power and coaxial contacts, making it suitable for aerospace, military, medical, and industrial applications requiring compact, rugged, moisture-sealed microminiature connectors.
