DESCRIPTION
051521-0023 is a high-reliability D-Sub socket connector from the D'M series, designed for robust electrical interconnection in demanding environments. It features a 15-contact arrangement with size 20 contacts, supporting wire gauges from AWG 20-28 and a maximum current rating of 7.5 A. The connector offers excellent electrical performance with a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000 VAC at sea level and contact resistance of 7.5 milliohm maximum. Constructed with a steel shell featuring yellow chromate over zinc finish and gold over nickel plated copper alloy contacts, it operates reliably across a wide temperature range of -55°C to +150°C. This straight PCB-mount connector is ideal for applications requiring high mating cycle durability (500 cycles) and corrosion resistance with 48-hour salt spray test compliance.
