DESCRIPTION
121583-0013 is an APD High Power 1-way connector plug designed for high-reliability power distribution in transportation systems. It features a socket gender configuration with Code 6 red mechanical keying (RAL 2002) and is rated for 48 VDC operation with a maximum contact resistance of 0.4 mO. The connector demonstrates robust electrical performance with 1000 VAC voltage proof (60 seconds) and 10 MO minimum insulator resistance, while maintaining mechanical durability through 50 mating cycles and a 2 Nm maximum coupling torque. Operating across a wide temperature range of -40°C to 125°C with IP 67 sealing protection, the connector is engineered for harsh automotive and industrial environments, offering excellent resistance to salt spray, industrial gases, and fluid exposure including brake fluid, ATF, and fuel.
