DESCRIPTION
154250-0017 is a Micro-D metal shell connector plug designed for microminiature interconnect applications with 0.050" contact spacing. The connector features a robust metal shell construction with backpotting using epoxy, and is available in multiple shell sizes (9 through 100) with either electroless nickel (A174) or cadmium over nickel (A101) plating. It incorporates micropin contacts and microsocket receptacle interfaces with interfacial seals and E-ring retention, and supports various mounting configurations including front panel, rear panel, and edgeboard mounting with #2-56 UNC-2A or #4-40 UNC-2A threaded hardware. The connector is engineered for harsh environment applications in aerospace, defense, industrial, and medical markets, providing reliable signal and power transmission in demanding operational conditions.
