DESCRIPTION

249-4517-000 is a two-piece metal backshell designed for use with DL2/DLM2 Cannon ZIF connectors. The shell features a die cast aluminum construction with acrylic paint finish and stainless steel hardware, providing durable protection and strain relief for cable assemblies. The wire hood can be installed in two positions, allowing for either straight or 90° cable entry by rotating the hood. Key dimensions include 77.8 mm (3.06 in) length, 33.0 mm (1.30 in) width, and a maximum cable entry diameter of 19.05 mm (0.750 in). The kit includes 2 shells, 9 screws, 1 wire hood, 1 wire clamp, and 1 lock/open indication seal, making it suitable for applications requiring secure connector backshell protection.
