DESCRIPTION
248-8653-026 is an APD 37-way flange receptacle connector designed for transportation applications requiring robust electrical connectivity. The connector features a pin gender configuration with Code 1 black mechanical keying (RAL 9005) and operates at 48 VDC with a maximum contact resistance of 5 mO. It is rated for 1000 VAC voltage proof over 60 seconds and maintains an insulation resistance of 10 MO minimum, with a temperature operating range of -40°C to 125°C and humidity tolerance up to 95% relative humidity. The connector is constructed from PA 66 GF housing with FKM sealing material, achieving IP 67 + IP 69k sealing protection and demonstrating excellent durability through 20 mating cycles and resistance to salt spray, industrial climate, and fluid compatibility with brake fluid, ATF, and fuel. This makes it ideal for harsh automotive and industrial environments where reliable, sealed connections are essential.
