DESCRIPTION
The DCMAM-37S is a high-reliability D-Sub connector featuring 37 contacts (size 20) with crimp termination, designed for demanding industrial and aerospace applications. It supports a wire gauge range of AWG 20-28 (standard) or AWG 22-28 (high density) and is rated for 500 mating cycles with a maximum current rating of 7.5 A per contact. The connector operates reliably across a wide temperature range of -55°C to +150°C and provides a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000 VAC at sea level, with contact resistance maintained at 10 mO maximum. The shell is constructed from steel with yellow chromate over zinc finish, while the insulator is thermoplastic (PCT UL 94V-0) in black, and contacts are copper alloy with gold over nickel plating (Performance Class 2). This connector is ideal for applications requiring robust, corrosion-resistant connections in harsh environments, including military, aerospace, and industrial control systems.
