DESCRIPTION
MDM-21PBSPTL61-A174 is a Micro-D metal shell PCB connector featuring 21 pin contacts designed for high-density, high-reliability board-to-board, board-to-cable, and cable-to-cable applications. The connector utilizes a Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) insulator material with 0.050" (1.27 mm) contact spacing and an electroless nickel (A174) shell finish. It offers a dielectric withstanding voltage of 600 VAC at sea level, insulation resistance of 5,000 megohms minimum, and contact resistance of 8 milliohms maximum at 3 amps. The connector is rated for thermal shock from -55°C to +125°C, vibration resistance up to 20 G's, and physical shock up to 50 G's. This connector is ideal for use with flex circuitry, flat cable, and printed circuit boards in demanding aerospace, military, and industrial applications.
