DESCRIPTION

MDM-31PBSM7-A174 is a 31-contact Micro-D PCB connector plug designed for use with flex circuitry, flat cable, and printed circuit boards. It features a metal shell with electroless nickel finish (A174), straight board mount (BS) termination, and jackpost mounting hardware (M7) for use with locking hardware. The connector utilizes Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) insulator material and provides 0.050" (1.27 mm) contact spacing for high-density applications. Key electrical specifications include dielectric withstanding voltage of 600 VAC at sea level, insulation resistance of 5,000 megohms minimum, and contact resistance of 8 milliohms maximum at 3 amps. This connector is ideal for board-to-board, board-to-cable, and cable-to-cable applications requiring high reliability in demanding environments.
