DESCRIPTION
The 096523-0708 is a Micro-D metal shell connector featuring 0.050" (1.27 mm) contact spacing with size 24 MICROPIN/MICROSOCKET contacts arranged in a high-density configuration. The connector employs aluminum shells to provide enhanced strength, electromagnetic (EMI) and RFI shielding, and resistance to chipping and cracking. It incorporates a silicone elastomer compression interfacial seal to provide moisture and humidity sealing between each contact. Available in multiple shell sizes (9 through 100 contacts), this connector is designed for applications requiring highly reliable, extremely small, lightweight connectors with superior environmental protection.
