DESCRIPTION
097277-0002 is a Micro-D metal shell connector featuring 0.050" (1.27 mm) contact spacing designed for highly reliable, extremely small, lightweight applications requiring high-density contact configurations. The connector employs size 24 MICROPIN/MICROSOCKET contacts on 0.050" centers with aluminum shells that provide greater strength, prevent chipping and cracking, and offer electromagnetic (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) shielding. It features a silicone elastomer compression interfacial seal to provide moisture and humidity sealing between each contact. Available in eight shell sizes accommodating from 9 to 100 contacts with special arrangements of power and coaxial contacts, this connector is ideal for applications requiring environmental protection, high performance, and rugged microminiature connectivity in demanding aerospace, military, and industrial environments.
