DESCRIPTION

MS3106E16S-1S is a MIL-DTL-5015 series circular connector designed for rugged military and industrial applications. This straight plug features a 16S shell size with 7 socket contacts in a 16S-1 arrangement, utilizing solder cup termination with hard silver contact plating. The connector offers a contact rating of 22 A at +20°C, contact resistance of 6 mO, and a test voltage of 1600 Vrms. Constructed with an aluminum alloy shell with olive drab chromate coating over cadmium plating, it provides IP65 protection and 500 hours salt spray resistance. The connector operates within an ambient temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, making it suitable for demanding aerospace, defense, and industrial equipment applications.
