DESCRIPTION

The MS3126E22-55S is a straight plug connector from the MIL-C-26482 Series I family, designed as a general-purpose miniature circular connector with crimp contact termination. It features shell size 22 with a 55-contact arrangement (22-55), supporting #20 AWG contacts with service rating Class I. The connector is qualified for industrial and military applications requiring quick-disconnect capability with fixed contacts. It is supplied with a grommet seal (Class E) and includes a polarizing groove for proper mating orientation. Dimensional specifications include a maximum shell diameter of 1.602 inches (40.69 mm), a maximum overall length of 1.656 inches (42.06 mm) for Type J configuration, and a thread specification of 1-5/16-18UNEF. These connectors are widely used in aerospace, military, and industrial systems where reliable, environment-resistant interconnections are critical.
