DESCRIPTION
The 105-1041-001 is an insulated tip jack featuring a Rib-Loc® type design with a machined brass contact body and wrap-around beryllium copper spring, finished in silver plating. It is constructed with a Nylon 6/6 body per ASTM D4066 and supports panel thicknesses up to 0.375 inches (9.05 mm). The jack is rated for 5 amps continuous current with a minimum breakdown voltage of 3500 Vrms and a maximum contact resistance of 0.005 ohms, ensuring reliable electrical performance. Installation is straightforward—the jack presses into a standard 0.080 inch (2.00 mm) diameter mounting hole without requiring additional hardware. The closed entry design blocks access to probes greater than 0.085 inches (2.16 mm), and the UL-approved nylon body provides self-extinguishing properties, making it suitable for professional audio equipment, test instrumentation, and laboratory applications where durability and safety are essential.
