DESCRIPTION
The 108-1702-101 is an insulated solderless banana plug designed for fast, dependable connections in low-voltage applications. It features a brass plug body with nickel silver spring and nickel finish, combined with a nylon 6/6 insulated handle that is UL approved for self-extinguishing properties. The plug utilizes a side set screw mechanism to secure wire connections up to 16 gauge without soldering, providing reliable contact with a maximum contact resistance of 0.010 ohms. With a rated current capacity of 15 amps and breakdown voltage of 35 Vrms minimum, this connector is suitable for standard banana jack applications rated at 50 WVDC.
