DESCRIPTION
The 125-2701-201 is an SMPM male smooth bore straight PC mount connector designed for high-frequency RF applications. It features a 50 ohm impedance with a frequency range of 0 to 40 GHz and is constructed with beryllium copper gold-plated contacts over nickel and copper plating, along with a brass gold-plated base and TEFLON insulator for superior electrical performance. The connector operates at a maximum working voltage of 325 VRMS at sea level with an insulation resistance of 5000 megohm minimum and exhibits low contact resistance of 6 milliohm maximum for the center contact and 2 milliohm maximum for the outer conductor. Mechanically, it provides an engagement force of 2.5 lbs typical, disengagement force of 1.5 lbs typical, and supports 500 durability cycles minimum with a contact retention of 1.5 lbs minimum axial force. The connector operates reliably across a temperature range of -65°C to +165°C and meets MIL-STD-348B smooth bore interface specifications, making it ideal for demanding RF and microwave applications in telecommunications, aerospace, and test instrumentation.
