DESCRIPTION
131-3693-101 is a 50 Ohm SMB right angle solder type plug with captivated contact designed for .086 semi-rigid cable (RG-405/u). The connector features gold plating and is engineered to meet MIL-C-39012 Series SMB engagement specifications with a frequency range of 0–4 GHz and VSWR of 1.25 + 0.04f for straight cabled and 1.35 + 0.04f for right angle cabled configurations. It operates over a temperature range of -65°C to +165°C with a working voltage of 335 Vrms at sea level and 85 Vrms at 70,000 feet, and supports a cable retention axial force of 30 pounds. The connector body is constructed from brass with gold plating per MIL-G-45204, features PTFE or PFA insulation, and includes a captivated contact design for secure mating. This connector is ideal for high-frequency RF applications, aerospace systems, and precision instrumentation requiring reliable, low-loss connections in demanding environments.
