DESCRIPTION
142-1701-046 is an SMA jack assembly with flange mount designed for RF and microwave applications. The connector features a brass body with nickel plating over copper, beryllium copper contacts with gold plating, and a Teflon insulator, providing excellent electrical and mechanical performance. It operates across a frequency range of 0–18 GHz with 50 ohm impedance, a working voltage of 335 VRMS maximum at sea level, and a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000 VRMS minimum. Key electrical characteristics include an insulation resistance of 5000 megohm minimum, center contact resistance of 3.0 milliohm maximum initially and 4.0 milliohm maximum after environmental testing, and RF leakage of -90 dB minimum at 2–3 GHz.
