DESCRIPTION

The XGG2-88Z1 is a miniature microswitch featuring a plunger actuator and Faston terminals, designed for general-purpose switching applications in household appliances and industrial equipment. It is rated for 250 VAC at 16 A (ENEC) or 15 A (UL/CSA) with silver/silver-nickel (Ag/AgNi10) contacts in a changeover (CO) configuration. The switch has an actuating force of 3.20 ozf, an operating position of 11.43 mm, and a circuit differential of 0.57 mm, with dimensions of 27.8 × 15.9 × 10.3 mm. It operates reliably across a temperature range of -40 °C to +150 °C, achieves a mechanical life of 2.5 × 105 cycles minimum (up to 50 × 106 cycles maximum), and is compliant with IEC 60335-1 (4th edition). The switch is commonly used in appliance control circuits, safety interlocks, and general-purpose switching where compact size and long operational life are required.
