DESCRIPTION
The 63060 is a ratcheting cable cutter designed for single-handed cutting of copper and aluminum cables with a patented two-step ratchet mechanism that requires fewer strokes per cut. It features a high-leverage ratchet design with hardened steel cutting blades for lasting strength and sharpness, capable of cutting up to 400 kcmil (185 mm²) copper, 600 kcmil (300 mm²) aluminum, and communication cable up to 1-1/8" (28 mm) diameter. The tool includes a quick-release mechanism that allows blade opening in any cutting position and enables cable removal before cut completion, plastic-covered handles with hand guards for comfort and firm grip, and a locking lever for secure transport.
