DESCRIPTION
The ECF504-UAAS-HR is a USB Type-A to Type-A panel-mount adapter with shielded connectors and high-retention design, intended for secure data and power connectivity in panel-mounted applications. The adapter features dual USB Type-A jacks with gold-plated copper alloy contacts (30 µ inches) and a steel alloy connector shell with nickel plating (100 µ inches minimum), ensuring reliable signal transmission and corrosion resistance. The coupler housing is constructed from ABS plastic (UL94V-0 flammability rated) with chrome finish, while the PCB uses epoxy glass (FP-4, 94V-0 rated) for durability. The total mating force is 40 N maximum and unmating force is 15 N minimum, providing secure connection with controlled insertion/removal effort. Operating temperature range is -10°C to +70°C, making it suitable for standard indoor and light industrial environments. This adapter is commonly used in computer peripherals, industrial control panels, and consumer electronics requiring robust USB connectivity with panel-mount integration.
