DESCRIPTION

The 8121SH9CGE is a single-pole double-throw (SPDT) snap-acting momentary pushbutton switch from the 8020 Series, designed for applications requiring positive tactile feedback and reliable switching action. This switch features right-angle PC through-hole termination with an epoxy seal compatible with bottom wash cleaning processes, and operates with momentary contact functionality where position 1 is ON and position 2 is momentary. The switch provides contact ratings of 1 AMP at 120 V AC or 28 V DC (with G contact material), with an electrical life of 60,000 make-and-break cycles at full load and contact resistance below 50 mO typical. The device is commonly used in instrumentation, computer peripherals, and telecommunications equipment where reliable momentary switching and compact form factor are essential.
