DESCRIPTION
A40305RNCQ is a 4-pole rotary switch from the A Series designed for multi-position switching applications requiring reliable contact engagement and detent positioning. The switch features positive detent operation with 5-position capability and supports both shorting and non-shorting contact configurations, with Q contact material rated at 2.5 AMPS @ 125 V AC and 350 mA @ 125 V DC (UL/CSA), with continuous carry rating of 5 AMPS. Key technical characteristics include contact resistance below 20 mO typical at 2-4 V DC with 100 mA, insulation resistance of 10? O minimum, dielectric strength of 1,000 Vrms minimum at sea level, and electrical life of 15,000 make-and-break cycles at full load with up to 300,000 detent operations.
