DESCRIPTION
BD08AV is an 8-position standard profile DIP switch featuring SPST (Single Pole Single Throw) switching function with right-angle terminal style and open base construction. The switch is rated for 100 mA maximum carry current at 50 V DC and 100 mA maximum switch current at 5 V DC, with contact resistance below 50 milliohms typical and mechanical/electrical life of 10,000 make-and-break cycles at full load. It operates reliably over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, withstands 20g shock (11 ms sawtooth waveform), and features gold-over-nickel contacts with glass-filled polyester case (UL 94V-0 flame retardant). The open base design allows for solder washing without tape seal, and the extended actuator provides easy actuation. BD08AV is ideal for address switching in industrial controls, logic switching in computers and peripherals, and function control in numerous applications.
