DESCRIPTION

The C115373-0009, also known as the MDMA-Retention tool, is a dedicated tool for performing retention tests on contacts within MDMA microminiature connectors. It is equipped with two different test tips on its ends, one for use with Pin contacts and the other for Socket contacts. The tool is calibrated to apply a test force of 9 N ± 0.5 N over a travel distance of 3 mm to confirm that contacts are securely locked. Each tool is delivered with two protective caps and a calibration certificate. This ensures reliable verification of contact seating, which is critical in high-reliability applications such as satellite harnesses, avionics, and military equipment.
