DESCRIPTION
DS2F5AQ2 is an interlock pushbutton switch from the DS Series designed for reliable snap-action operation in circuit interrupt and detection applications. The switch features snap-in mounting, a snap-action mechanism, and is available in single pole double throw (SPDT) or double pole double throw (DPDT) configurations with momentary or latch operation modes. It is constructed with PA 66/6 halogen-free housing (UL94V-0), copper alloy terminals with silver plating, and silver alloy contacts with F5 rating gold plating, ensuring durability and reliable electrical performance. The switch operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, with dielectric strength of 1500 V (50-60 Hz), insulation resistance of 100 MO minimum, and initial contact resistance of 30 milli-ohms. Common applications include interlock switches, detection switches, and circuit interrupt functions in industrial and consumer electronics.
